The Rescue Mission Alliance is the pioneering Christian organization that helps people realize their potential to live beyond their limitations because of our compassionate presence, personalized services and commitment to long-term transformation.
The Rescue Mission Alliance has served the homeless since 1972. It has grown from the first location on 6th Street in Oxnard to multiple locations in four counties throughout Southern California. Several distinct programs are offered, which provide a full range of care for addressing the needs of those experiencing homelessness, hunger, and poverty.
While the Rescue Mission Alliance is a Christ-centered organization, we are not a church. We recognize the need to join forces with the local churches of Southern California in order to provide spiritual nurturing and discipleship that is required for real hope and change in the lives of the people we serve.
