Camille credits pantry with changing her life
With the help of food, clothes, she's found employment, housing, and a stronger relationship with God
Camille stopped by First United Methodist Church in Reseda wearing the clothes she received from the "Clothes Closet," a ministry that offers donated clothes to those in need for free. Camille had utilized the services when she was seeking employment.
She also came to Reseda FUMC Kingdom Common Grounds food pantry, which operates every Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. Camille was grateful for the pantry's offerings and continued to come each week.
With each visit, Camille said she felt God's presence guiding her through with love and kindness from others. In time, doors opened for her. First, there was a new job, then housing, and finally, the realization that God had been with her every step of the way restoring her hope and renewing her spirit.
Camille says she has been profoundly transformed by Reseda FUMC's Kingdom Common Grounds Food Pantry, which operates with support from RMA's Valley Food Bank.
Camille shared her heartfelt appreciation for the support that has changed her life. She wanted everyone to know that she is thankful and very blessed for the love she has received from FUMC and RMA.
The Reseda FUMC Kingdom Common Grounds pantry is held at the church, which is at 18120 Saticoy St. in Reseda.
